According to the Pamphlet, The National Beat Club is the nation's largest independent, educational, no-profit, youth organization. Their purpose is to encourage and reward academic achievement, and to promote those qualities of character that make for good citizenship. Their members learn to lead others by serving others. Sounded good to me...I wrote the check for the fee and proudly attended the induction ceremony.
