I found these pictures in my dad's slides, it is exactly how I remember Disneyland and Disney World...it is amazing how it stays the same over 50 years....well, except for the fashions.

Lego Man

This is what M wanted for Christmas...he put it together in two days. Amazing. I would still be staring at the box.

Transformation

I went to the Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store with my very talented friend, Lora. I walked right by this ugly brass discarded light fixture...Lora found life in it...so I bought it for $15...and voila', new birth. My talented husband had to do some creative re-wiring when the baubache wouldn't not fit around the old sockets and it won't be getting little lampshades but all in all, I think it came out quite pretty. H is extremely pleased since it went in her room :-)

My Talented Valentine

I am so excited to share my friend, Lora's blog. She is the most creative person I have met and she has finally started a blog. Lora was a teacher for many years and living on a teacher's salary is...well, a challenge. She learned how to make one man's trash, her treasure. You would be amazed at what she can do with someone's discarded chair or mirror. So, I encourage you to take a look at this woman's talent...maybe you'll see something to inspire you to take a second look at that chair you were about to donate.
