Groundhog Day

Matthew is 12 today! My little groundhog...After being told I couldn't have any more children. God didn't just give me one more but two. My double portion.

He is my easy going, peace making child. I can't believe he plays hockey. The first time I saw him puff his chest out at a player for touching the goalie, I thought "Is that my Matthew?" He cracks me up and I love him to pieces.

Unsend

Ever sent an email and immediately regretted it? I just did that. I really need an "Unsend" or "Retrieve" button...or a time delay to cancel the message...I could go for that...

I just answered a group email and put my "wit" in my answer...then suddenly I realized, some of these people don't know me very well...I was a bit passive/aggressive responding...it was a direct zing to some badly behaved people.

I should have just answered "Yes, count me in." But nope...the old Hampton sarcasm came out...dang that gene, it gets me in trouble every time.
